Husqvarna Group Boosts Operational Efficiency with Azure Adaptive Cloud
Husqvarna Group
Swedish manufacturer Husqvarna Group deployed Azure Arc, Azure IoT Operations, and Azure OpenAI Service to unify its fragmented public cloud, hybrid, and on-premises factory infrastructure and enable real-time data insights across its global manufacturing network. The rollout achieved 98% faster data deployment and 50% lower infrastructure imaging costs. Using Azure OpenAI Service, the company also built Factory Companion, an AI chatbot that gives factory teams instant troubleshooting guidance based on historical maintenance data and machine documentation, moving maintenance from reactive toward predictive.
Epiroc uses Azure Machine Learning to predict steel quality and cut customer returns by 30 percent
Epiroc
Swedish equipment manufacturer Epiroc built an ESML AI Factory on Microsoft Azure Machine Learning and Azure Data Factory to create machine learning models for its steel heat-treatment process, predicting steel density, hardness and flexibility for rock drilling tools under various conditions. Epiroc reports the predictive models reduced customer rejections and product returns by 30 percent, and the company now runs eleven analytical teams' use cases in the shared AI factory.
Schneider Electric fast-tracks innovation with Azure OpenAI Service
Schneider Electric
Schneider Electric bases customer-facing AI solutions on Azure OpenAI Service within Microsoft Cloud for Manufacturing. Its EcoStruxure Microgrid Advisor uses Azure OpenAI Service and Azure IoT for dynamic control of facility energy performance, EcoStruxure Resource Advisor Copilot helps customers manage energy usage, and the company is developing a PLC code generation copilot to automate programmable logic controller programming for manufacturing robots and IoT devices.
Banco Ciudad builds 10 AI agents in six months with Microsoft 365 Copilot and Copilot Studio
Banco de la Ciudad de Buenos Aires
Banco de la Ciudad de Buenos Aires (Banco Ciudad) established an AI Center of Excellence and deployed Microsoft 365 Copilot, Copilot Studio and Azure AI Services to automate tasks and build AI agents. Starting from a pilot of 1,000 Copilot licenses, the bank built over 10 AI agents in Copilot Studio within six months to automate tasks like PDF text extraction and employee training. The bank freed up 2,400 hours annually, saved USD14,500 per month via call-center sentiment analysis on 70,000+ monthly interactions, and projects a total AI impact of USD75,000 per month, with a 90% internal approval rating for deployed AI agents, achieved without headcount reduction.
Innovating banking efficiency: National Bank of Greece transforms operations with Microsoft Azure AI Document Intelligence
National Bank of Greece
National Bank of Greece (NBG), which serves 6 million customers across 356 branches, built a Document AI solution on Azure AI Document Intelligence (formerly Form Recognizer) to replace a limited rule-based OCR process. Built in under four months after analyzing 50 million pages to create a training dataset, the solution now supports about 20 document categories across nearly 60 document templates (tax forms, payroll certificates, IDs, energy certificates, utility bills), processes documents at under 0.5 seconds per page, and integrates with six customer-facing digital banking applications. Accuracy improved to approximately 90%, the system is tuned to recognize the Greek language, and NBG now processes over 700,000 pages per month.
