Gallagher: AI as a Force Multiplier for Trusted Advisors
Gallagher, one of the world's largest insurance brokers and risk management firms, built its own Gallagher AI platform on Microsoft Foundry to streamline claims summarization, policy and risk management analysis, fraud detection, document interrogation, and workflow automation across a highly regulated business. Microsoft Foundry provides secure model execution with flexible model selection and built-in compliance frameworks, Microsoft 365 Copilot is deployed enterprise-wide for daily productivity, and Copilot Studio powers specialized AI agents such as one automating the multi-line quote letter (MQL) process that extracts quotes from carrier partners and populates client letters. Data governance is enforced through a ring-fenced model using Microsoft Purview Data Loss Prevention. Gallagher reports claims summarization that used to take an hour or two now takes minutes, and more than 70,000 employees now have access to secure AI tools embedded in daily workflows.
