Legrand, a French electrical and digital building infrastructure manufacturer with 300,000+ products across 90 countries, co-developed two generative AI tools with Artefact using Azure OpenAI Service, Azure AI Search and Azure Data Lake Storage: Gaia, which generates and localizes product descriptions, and Elia, an AI chatbot that gives sales and customer service teams fast, accurate product information. Gaia cut product data generation time by 60% (with 82% of marketing managers preferring its output in A/B testing), and Elia saves an estimated 20 minutes per sales rep or customer advisor per day.
