Sertrading transforms document processing with OCI-powered AI agent built by MPL

Sertrading, a global imports company processing more than 800 types of business documents including invoices and payment slips, adopted an AI-powered agent built on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure using OCI Document Understanding, OCI Generative AI models, and Oracle APEX, developed with partner MPL Corporate Software. Employees and suppliers upload documents to the platform, where the agent extracts structured data and returns JSON for integration into business processes. Munich Re HealthTech improves insurance analytics with Oracle AI solutions

Munich Re HealthTech (MRHT), a German health-tech provider to the health insurance industry, migrated its SMAART actuarial application to Oracle Autonomous AI Database on OCI and built an AI chatbot using OCI Generative AI, Oracle Autonomous Database's Select AI, and AI Vector Search. The chatbot lets actuaries, underwriters, and senior management search the knowledgebase and get instant, multilingual, conversational answers, correctly answering more than 90% of questions posed to it. Oracle APEX automation also cut the time to build analytical dashboards in SMAART from 15 days to about 20 minutes, and Oracle Globally Distributed Autonomous Database let MRHT meet per-country data residency requirements. The company reports lower development costs, stronger compliance, and real-time insights for pricing, risk assessment, and underwriting.

Choctaw Nation preserves its language using a fine-tuned Llama AI translation system on Oracle AI infrastructure

The Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma, whose native language has dwindled to about 300 first-language speakers, built an AI-powered translation application using Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Data Science, OCI AI infrastructure, and Oracle APEX. Tribal linguists fine-tuned Meta's Llama large language models to validate translations between English and Choctaw. When a translation request comes in, an AI agent uses the fine-tuned Llama model with retrieval-augmented generation to consult dictionary resources and validated translation databases, generating a proposed translation that human linguists then review and refine. The application can extract and validate translation pairs from historical documents such as 19th-century newspapers and interview transcripts. Using Oracle AI infrastructure and model fine-tuning tools, tribal linguists can process double the translation requests per day compared to the prior manual process, and sensitive language data stays within Choctaw-controlled OCI environments for data residency and cultural protection.
