German media group Neue Pressegesellschaft (NPG), whose news portals get around 24 million visits a month, launched 'Frag Mich' ('Ask Me'), an AI question-answering feature built with Retresco using Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) technology. Available in the mobile apps of NPG titles SÜDWEST PRESSE, Märkische Oderzeitung and LAUSITZER RUNDSCHAU, it lets subscribers ask free-form questions and get answers grounded exclusively in editorially reviewed articles, with clearly cited sources and links to original content.
