Ventura County Health Care Agency reduces documentation time with Oracle Health Clinical AI Agent

VCHCA, the County of Ventura's public healthcare system, installed the Oracle Health AI Agents mobile app on physicians' phones starting November 2024. The app generates a draft clinical note from the physician's conversation with a consenting patient for the physician's review, approval, and sign-off. Over the 12 months since go-live, the 44 of 91 providers using the tool for at least half their notes saw a 10.7% reduction in time spent in the Oracle Health Foundation EHR and a 27.3% reduction in documentation time, freeing time for patient care.
