SPAR ICS, the independent IT unit of SPAR Austria Group, used Microsoft Cloud for Retail to build the SPAR shopping app and created an award-winning AI-enabled demand forecasting system with Azure Synapse Analytics, now moving to Microsoft Fabric. The new system helps SPAR Austria Group optimize its supply chain, achieving 90 percent inventory prediction accuracy. Future plans include using Copilot for Microsoft 365 to enhance employee productivity.
