The Guthrie Clinic, serving communities across 11,000-square miles of New York and Pennsylvania, needed a robust and intelligent infrastructure to serve nearly 2 million patient visits each year across 76 offices and six hospitals.

The solution

Guthrie built its IT foundation on the Dell AI Factory with NVIDIA, including Dell PowerEdge servers and Dell AI PCs. It uses the Artisight AI platform, powered by Dell PowerEdge servers with NVIDIA GPUs, to monitor and analyze patient movement and deliver instant fall-risk assessments. Clinicians use Dell AI PCs and monitors to securely access clinical applications and patient data. Guthrie also launched The Guthrie Pulse Center, a virtual command center where AI-powered systems and dedicated clinical teams — including virtual nurses and electronic ICU staff — collaborate on patient observation, documentation and logistics like bed assignments, supported by a private cloud built on Dell infrastructure.
