Volvo Autonomous Solutions and DSV launch autonomous freight operations in Texas

Volvo Autonomous Solutions (V.A.S.) and logistics provider DSV began commercial autonomous freight operations between Dallas and Houston, Texas, hauling the first commercial truckload with the Volvo VNL Autonomous truck integrated with the Aurora Driver self-driving system. The Autona/freight solution combines the purpose-built truck with self-driving technology from partners Aurora and Waabi plus fleet management and operations support; a safety driver remains onboard during this initial phase. V.A.S. has logged more than one million autonomous miles in regional and local freight since 2023.
