Claude 3.5 Sonnet

Claude 3.5 Sonnet is Anthropic's first release in the Claude 3.5 model family, launched June 21, 2024. It raises the bar for intelligence, outperforming competitor models and Claude 3 Opus on a wide range of evaluations, at the speed and cost of Anthropic's mid-tier model, Claude 3 Sonnet. It sets new industry benchmarks for graduate-level reasoning (GPQA), undergraduate-level knowledge (MMLU), and coding proficiency (HumanEval), operates at twice the speed of Claude 3 Opus, and is Anthropic's strongest vision model to date.
